Nautor's Swan 65 is, without a doubt, one of the world's most legendary sailing yachts. The
classic lines and well documented sailing performance go to show that as designers, Sparkman
& Stephens did a near perfect job. The first ever Whitbread Race in 1973-74 was won by
a Swan 65. This is no fragile, modern regatta machine, but a well-balanced greyhound that is
a perfect joy to sail.
S/Y PEAK was built in 1973 as the very first Swan 65. After 23 years of sailing, she went back
to the Nautor yard in Pietarsaari, Finland. The rebuild included new wiring, plumbing, teak decks,
hatches, sails, and a completely new interior built exactly according to the original drawings.
In 1996 she was launched for the second time as a brand new yacht. Since then she has been
further upgraded with a new engine, generator, airconditioning, electronics, etc. This classic
lady is now the envy of all who behold her.
