LONGOBARDA

This renowned Bruce Farr Maxi is now Norwegian.

She is based in Ålesund on the western coast of Norway, an area with
the most spectacular fjords in the world. The Geirangerfjord
in particular is one of the most visited spots along the entire Norwegian
coast.

These deep and narrow arms of the sea are far from ideal from the
standpoint of sailing, but the outer coast line more than makes up for this.
In heavy weather the outermost inshore passages provide calmer water in
which to harness the wind, while during more moderate periods, the offshore
islands offer unsurpassed variety both in regards to topography and fauna.

Despite being a thoroughbred racing machine, Longobarda has a functional
and appealing interior. With 18 bunks, a well equipped galley and a
large generator she also caters well to longer term guests. Her
overdimensioned heating system offers a dry and comfortable environment
below deck, regardless of the weather conditions.

Longobarda is available
for charters and races throughout northern Europe.
