Launched in September 1998, this amazing spaceship palace is just over 50 feet(!) wide. She is Veritas classed and designed to circumnavigate the world. We were invited out for a sail and awed with a steady 18-20 knots on a close reach in a 25 knot breeze. Don't miss it, you won't believe it.

There are six double cabins with ensuite bathrooms, while the crew of eight have their accommodations forward in both hulls. Douce France's interior is the essence of sobriety and elegance. The sycamore lined suites provide a discrete setting for delicate watercolors, glass decor and kilim rugs. With light filtering through wooden shades, mahogany and rosewood furniture bring out an air of colonial charm.
