(72')
(April - May 2000)
Your chance to sail across the Atlantic Ocean !
Fullfill your dreams of an ocean crossing without all the
hassles and expenses normally involved.
On the other hand, if you intend to do an ocean crossing with your own boat, this is a great
opportunity to learn all you need to know about sailing and navigation.
Swany left Norway in the middle of September.
Early in November she set sail from the Canary Islands bound for Antigua. She is spending the
winter chartering, based in the gorgeous Grenadines.
Next spring Swany will leave the West Indies behind at the end of March and is due back in Norway by the
middle of May. The route home includes a stop in the Azores and navigating the Caledonian Canal.
This beautiful and interesting waterway cuts right through the heart of Scotland
and entails sailing over three inland lakes, one of which is Loch Ness, the home of the famous
monster Nessie.
Rates are NOK 3000 (approx. $400) per week plus expenses.
