The usual starting point for a charter is Saltsjøbaden just south of Stockholm, where many of the crewed yachts are based. You can actually spend weeks sailing just within the neighboring one hundred nautical miles of this harbor, an archipelago of about 24,000 islands considered by many to be the world's premier cruising area. If you are a little more ambitious or adventurous, two weeks will for example give you the time to visit Finland, Russia and the Baltic States as well.
